BUBBLEGUM

Shot during the summer of 2015 on an East Hampton beach in Long Island, Bubblegum is a sun-soaked celebration of the transience of childhood. Using the chewy stuff was a practical way of drawing a fabulously diverse range of facial expressions from a group of local kids. The series of moving portraits reminds us that youth is not only to be celebrated as something brief, but to be enjoyed for its spontaneity and individuality.
